Dog walkers are welcome—please keep your dog under control and clean up after your friend. Camping, fires or the use of motor vehicles and motorbikes are not permitted. Please help to look after the nature by taking your litter home.

The Nature Reserve is open all year round, just come and wander round. Please see the directions and follow our visitors' code on the right.

York Environment Centre is open:

April-October       Mon-Fri 9am-5pm & Sat 10am-2pm*
November-March  Mon-Fri 9am-4pm & Sat 10am-1pm*

You’re very welcome to come in to look round. If you want to make sure that there is someone available to show you round, please contact us to arrange a guided tour (currently this option only applies to groups of five or more people).
